Print - Spartan Tree Shadow

This Spartan Grand Manor - a rare and beautiful trailer from the 1930's. It's more Art Deco than the more famous Airstream. This particular trailer I've found several times in different spots and it has a gorgeous wood interior and it's always pulled (somehow) by a coupe of a similar vintage.

I was thrilled to find it under this tree on my photo trip - I knew it would be very challenging to paint the stippled light on the ground and in the reflection and then the highlights from the sun on the trailer surface - the sun made spots that white out the reflection and the most mirrored sections were actually in shadow - a wonder for anyone interested in how light and shadow fall.

The original of this painting was large scale and shipped to a private collector. I have a print of this one in my home and I enjoy it, especially in a frame. This print is available up to size 60x30" in paper, canvas, and metal. A striking image with so much green and mood, it would look wonderful so large.

Delivery Date

Even though the print starts production right away, the shipping time and delivery to a Canadian or American address might take 2-4 weeks. If there's a firm deadline you need the print by that falls before 2-4 weeks, it's not recommended you order because I'd hate to disappoint you, miss a birthday or something like that. And unfortunately prints can not be sent in a faster method. Shipment outside North America takes 6 weeks or more. I apologize for the inconvenience.
